Highlights include:

  • About 95% of Chinese firms surveyed in the UAE expect market conditions to stay the same or improve, and intend to maintain or increase their investments.
  • Almost 67% of Chinese companies in Saudi Arabia (KSA) expected to increase investment in the next 5 years compared to 53% of those in the UAE.
  • Egypt was by far the favourite country for Chinese enterprises already operating in the UAE and KSA to expand to, followed by Kuwait, Oman and Jordan.
